A technology blog runs the gamut in terms of what content it wants to concentrate on. After all, there’s plenty to talk about, so you could focus on something as simple as hosting options for a new website, or latest tech gadgets and smartphones. If you search for technology blogs online, you’ll find that plenty of them discuss niche topics, while others are more catered to just about everything in the tech world. Depending on what you are looking for, you may need a tech news theme that caters to your needs.
What Are Some Examples of Tech Blogs?
Some of these big magazines like TechCrunch share articles about the most recent Apple products, while also giving information about stock values, new startups and interesting apps. The sky is the limit for publications like this, but you could also hone down your focus to something smaller, such as one software. The goal is to locate a niche that no one has tapped, or do it better than what is being published online right now. Heck, you can find blogs focused solely on learning Microsoft Word.
Why WordPress Is The Best Choice?
The thing about a technology blog is that you’ll want to spend most of your time working with writers and managing quality content to get published. Setting up the site will take a bit of time, but the goal is to get your blog running and publishing within a few hours. Therefore, the best route for most blogs is to go with a technology blog WordPress theme. These templates have the features you need to walk through one-click setups and start sending your content out to the world within a reasonable amount of time. Not only that, but you’ll have some handy tools for changing items like logos, fonts, and colors, all of which play roles in your entire branding strategy. We put together a list of the top tech WordPress themes on the market. Some of them are clean and simple, while others are more complex for the big magazines that are looking to publish tons of content. Regardless, keep reading to learn about which option is best for you.
Best Technology WordPress Themes
The Digital Marketing WordPress theme delivers an interesting blogging interface for magazines and digital marketing agencies alike. We enjoy the theme for most tech blogs because you can manipulate many elements to look exactly the way you want. The theme is completely responsive so that your users can view interesting new tech information on their smaller devices. The thin header is essential for directing eyes towards your most important content on the homepage. The social media buttons can be added to the header, enabling people to follow you on sites like Facebook and Twitter. We particularly enjoy this feature because you don’t have to go out and find a third-party social media plugin that’s bound to slow down your site. The homepage offers a promote box with overlaying text and call-to-action buttons. We encourage bloggers to use this for sending people through a sales funnel. You can also incorporate imagery to reveal what your website is all about.
The bold blog headers are essential for grabbing attention and convincing people to stick around to read more. You even receive a subscribe widget that resides on the top end of the homepage. This element is crucial when trying to build your email list and contact customers when a new blog post comes out. It’s one of the easiest ways to push traffic to your website when a new blog post is published, so we highly recommend utilizing this feature. There’s even a second promote box widget that you can implement elsewhere on your website. The call-to-action towards the bottom of the homepage is exactly what you need to convince people to buy an item or check out some of your best content. Social sharing buttons are included inside each of the blog posts, and the WooCommerce plugin integrates flawlessly with the theme for selling digital and physical items. Over 600 Google Font options make it easy to customize the fonts, while an incredible amount of colors are there to integrate with your overall brand. Along with lots of shortcodes, post types, and translation tools, the Digital Marketing WordPress theme is at the front of the pack.
The Conversion WordPress theme is a complete and modern magazine blogging theme with support for those who are interested in sharing tons of content. Four layouts are provided so that you can immediately start to differentiate yourself from the competition and the responsive design improves your chances of moving up in the search engines, while also giving users a better experience. The post slider and carousel offer an interesting way to display all of your most important articles. When someone lands on your website they will see some pictures and titles for the most recent posts, along with some buttons for sliding through to the other posts they might find interesting. Over 100 options are included with this beautiful theme and you can manage each and every one of them from the convenience of the WordPress dashboard. The six handmade widgets fit well in the sidebars and footers, leaving you with an interesting design with lots of articles that fit on the screen. The dynamic areas on the WordPress theme allow you to insert advertisements or event announcements. These are great for expanding your reach and getting the word out about certain events you may enjoy.
Several Google Fonts are included with the Conversion WordPress theme, giving you the ability to change what your fonts look like in the menus, headers, and content. Quite a few post types are provided for making your content a little more diverse. One of the post types is strictly for presenting a photo gallery. You also have options for images, videos, audio, and more. The slider is complemented by overlaying text and buttons, which comes in handy for those who are trying to sell something on another landing page. A subscription widget can be placed in the sidebar, strengthening your strategy for building a solid email list. Although the majority of your recent posts are going to show up on the homepage, much of the front page is going to be run through widgets. We like this for two reasons. First of all, the widgets are easy to manipulate on the backend. Second of all, you can share lists for recent articles, social media buttons and much more. Overall, it’s a stunning theme, and we recommend it to anyone who wants a rather modern and technological feel.
